It is a beautiful piece of metal, that's for sure!

It's seems obvious that you did the work for the fun of the journey, but I wonder what the difference is between the price of a new Ed Brown, and all the work you did.

Not to diminish the result, mind you, the result is just awesome!!

I def did it for the fun of the journey. It has been AWESOME seeing this take shape.

The cost difference between this one and a similar Ed Brown is an additional 6-700 for the Ed Brown.

I feel that I really lucked out on my project too. I was reading up on the new Trident by Cylinder and Slide and it is pretty much the same gun (Brand name varies on parts and no Fail Zero finish) for half the cost and the Tident is supposed to be one awesome gun...for 2.5-3k I would hope so.

Alex Hamilton ( http://www.tenring.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ) and I highly recommend him.

He did the frontstrap, bead blasting, custom fit bushing, sights and some internal work.

GREAT guy, extremely nice, professional and extremely fair on price (a bit lower compared to some other places I looked) and I could NOT be happier with the result.

He does have a wait list of about 3-4 months. He told me that he it would be about that long before he could do the owrk. He called me almost exaclty 3 months later and I took the pistol over there and he had it completely done in 3 days!
