Smirf, that is not terribly unusual. The blue locktite is not permanent. I have found that a tiny spot of plain Elmers white glue does the job also. From the shop there was probable some sort of screw anchoring substance. The adjustments you made for fit & to secure the gun tension require another spot. You have a GOOD HOLSTER. There is nothing wrong w/ it. Put a spot of glue on it & wear it w/ pride. Offer us pictures & just make sure you do not show it off publickly.

Mine have twice. Its hot. Throw some red on and call it a day. :)

My advice (FWIW), don't put it on the holster. Put it on the screws, and do it today.
Use the red loctite...and be done with it.

Another solution is to use the GREEN locktite on the screws after you get everything adjusted to your satisfaction. Green locktite will penetrate the threads after assembly. Locktite, or something like it, on the threads is the answer for your problem with your "The Answer."

Locktite was designed for and is used daily on items FAR more expensive and precision than a holster. Go for it!

Even on the $2 million dollar optics suite in the M1A2 Abrams has locktite in use. By nature, screws can come loose. Do it right and throw some locktite on the threads.

I have one of the early versions of the Springfield 1911...the first run of the "fully loaded" models..super gun, I love it.
I thought that my eyes were going bad when I first started shooting the gun...my shots would drift to the left and then to the right...and then for a few shots would be in the bull......then the rear sight landed on my foot
Springfield told me to buy some locktite. Problemo solved.

If you don't want to use a thread-locking adhesive, wrap a turn of teflon tape around the screw (takes some finesse) and you have a reverse-nylock fastener. It's a nice field repair when you don't have access to Loctite.
