Hello, I just took my second CHL class yesterday(failed to submit my app the first time 1.5yrs ago), I was in the process of finishing filling out the paper application and while researching addresses and whatnot online, I stumbled across somthing that indicated that the state likes the online app better than the paper one, and L-1 prints better than the ink ones provided at class. So, I have been arrested twice, both for "failure to appear" in regards to an unpaid speeding ticket, and a posession of fireworks charge that I cant remember if I was a minor or not when I was cited for them, or if I was even properly charged. I spent the night in jail on one of them but never saw a judge, got out when dad paid my fine the next day, and the cop that arrested me on the second one took me to an ATM so I could get the money to pay the fine, and let me go when dad came to get me. Anyway, I have to wait untill I can drum up some court documentation relating to the two arrests, and of course make my appointment for my L-1 prints(the ink ones i got are sorta smeared), but I already have my completed and notorized affadavits and my CHL-100 forms from class. Does the inconsistency in the dates on my affadavits versus the date my online app was completed and paid for present a possible issue in processing?

with KCTAV... there shouldn't be any problems. HOWEVER, I'd like to recommend:
1. Go to the county criminal court clerk and attempt to obtain any "certified" copies of your dispositions in the court cases that MAY be available.....they may not be. If not, get certified copies from the court stating "no records found".

The reason for this is to "self-declare" any and all infractions that may have occurred in your past. Self-declaration is looked upon very favorably by DPS. I can attest to that.

I too was arrested, handcuffed, taken to jail and fingerprinted, photographed and processed in.....2 for warrants for speeding tickets(on 2 separate occasions), and one(believe it or not) for a zoning code violation(section of my fence had fallen down & I got cited for it, and in protest I did nothing about it! ) I self-declared all the violations, got certified copies from the city & county from the criminal court clerk and sent them in with my other paperwork....I received my CHL 49 days later.
