NRA and HR 5175.

I was listening to a Gun Talk pod cast and was surprised to learn about HR 5175 the "disclosure bill". I have been in a training program for work and have not been up on my current events like i usually am so this was the first time hearing about the issue. Anyways, there are many that think that the NRA has sold out on this particular issue and thrown every other pro gun organization under the bus. I tend to agree just from what I read and have heard that this may be the case in this particular situation. I was just wondering the opinion of others seeing as i am just now catching up on the issue.
I have heard the VP of the NRA on Tom's show so i have heard his argument for the action of the NRA. I agree with some of what he said but i am just not buying all of his reasoning. Let me be clear before i get flamed. I DO SUPPORT THE NRA! I feel the NRA has been very beneficial to our 2 amendment cause. However, i strongly disagree with the current stance the organization has taken on HR 5175. Please if you respond, i do not wish this to be a NRA bash fest. I would like to know the opinion out there of my fellow gun owners in regards to this issue. Mods if this has already been posted i apologize.
