When I saw the illustration of the one handed grip, it brought me back to the 60's when the Army trained me with the 1911. But, when I failed to see any two handed grips, I began to wonder. Turns out this manual is from 1979. Doesn't mean it's not full of good tips, but I would think it must have been updated many times since then.

Field Manual 3-22.9 Army Marksmanship dated
August 2008
DISTRIBUTION RESTRICTION: Approved for public release; distribution is unlimited.

BUT....The public can not log on to the pubs location....,,, so I would need a place to hang it.. that has the capacity to serve the pages hits you folks might make.

It's 19+ megs.. Sooooo.

My copy goes back a few years. Bill Blankenship was one of the contributors.

Emphasis on sight alignment, trigger control, and follow through would seem to remain relevant, no matter the generation.
