Forgive me if this is not posted under the correct topic. Academy (Almeda in Houston) has 3 boxes of CD 40 cal left$25/box of 20( I bought one) I bought 3 boxes 3 weeks ago.

That sure beats the $55 I paid for it at the gun show at Reliant back in May! Oh well, I needed some then and while I certainly didn't like paying that much... I DID PAY.

BTW Academy (Almeda Houston) had several dozen boxes of Monarch 380 FMJ in stock @ 15.99/box

I like Critical Defense. I buy it up whenever I see it.

Mr. FL450, I see that you live in Pearland. Have you visited that new Academy at 45 and NASA Rd. 1? We have to go by there tomorrow and buy some camping gear, so I'll see what SD ammo they have available. I'll report back to yall if I find any Critical Defense there in stock.

So, a little off topic, FL450? What are ya flying, a G-V?

Thanks Lefty Writer, Always looking for CD Ammo, I don't make it by Webster much. The Almeda store is close to Hobby. I fly a Citation Bravo but we just sold it and are looking for a new airplane.

Well, my wife and I just got back from the Academy in Webster, and they have a few boxes of Critical Defense ammo in .40 Smith....that's all.

I asked the guy behind the counter if they had any in 9mm or .45 ACP and he just laughed and said "good luck." Guess I'll have to try The Arms Room or some place like that.

I get most all my Critical Defense ammo from SGAmmo. Been buying much online from them of various types but he does have Hornady Critical Defense too for most calibers.
