Interesting Video from a LEO in SF, CA.

WARNING - this video, while perfectly suitable for adults, does not quite meet the 10 yr old daughter rule. It was passed to me by a TX State Trooper with the thought of "all that is going wrong with our communities".
Can't say I disagree with him.

Cyphur, thanks for the link to that! Wow talk about telling it like it is. Unfortunately in San Fran he's probably the one that will lose his job in the next election

Very interesting, we need more like him.

If this does happen, I think we should bring him to Houston and make
him police chief. Simple as that. He's what Houston needs.

Wow.
Amazed that video came from my former home in The Bay Area.
I also wasn't suprised at the attitude of the reporters, as reporters in that city give most good reporters a horrible name.
"Doesn't he deserve bail?"
That was a GREAT question :/
The attitude he's talking about isn't just in San Francisco, it's all over the Bay Area. It's one of the many reasons I left.

Wow ...what a moving piece...Thanks for posting it for all of us to listen to the PD Supervisor of the fallen officer.
It just torks me that I am going on vacation to a vacation home I inherited in CA (Friday for a week) ...and will not be able to carry...protect my family whatsoever.... And look ....just look at the screwed up laws and format CA has for CCW/CHL...absolutely stupid. I've gotta be a "Sean Penn" type in order to request a permit...must be a resident (well....guess I could get a CA ID Card)...and then go to the local Sheriff's office for a series of inane interviews as to why I consider it necessary for me to be permitted....and 'self-protection' doesn't cut it.
I was born in CA ...went to College there...but, now I have no interest in ever retiring or moving there permanently...lordy, (esp after hearing the film clip) come on Arnold....Mr. Governor- come on Residents of CA, get the CA House and Senate in order and recognize the Second Admendment rights of citizens.
Sorry for ranting...but really discouraging when I see a reminder of such stupidity, by not allowing proper consistent CCW permits, in contributing to the loss of LEO life!

Wow, I didn't know there were vertebrates in San Fran!
He must be a transplant!
San Francisco is a nice place to visit, but if you like your rights, you would never want to live there. The coolest thing is that they are literally taxing their citizens to the point of leaving.
The bad thing is that the Californians are buying up all the real estate here in the DFW area. Eek!

As a former resident of California and the bay area, I can say that I have good friends who are current and former LEO. They great people and share our view. Unfortunately, the are living in a system that does not share their world view. They serve with the same dedication as LEOs everywhere. I miss them but will not move back to that state.
We need to be ever dilligent that the political system and attitudes present in California do not make inroads into Texas like they have in Arizona, Nevada, and Oregon.

I agree that the BG's are to often released and back on the street when they shouldn't have been, but before we wish for him as Chief of Police of a Texas town let's find out how he stands on CHL, he is all for a LEO's right's but may not be in favor of mine.
I did like the way he went after the media and Judges, reminds be of a saying used by one of Red Skelton's character's, the mean little Kid, "I call's em like I see's em"

That should have played on national TV, but of course the news media would never allow that to happen unless they could somehow cast it in a negative light.
"Here's a clip of a nasty police supervisor in San Francisco . . ."

I have finally heard someone that lives in the Bay Area make sense!
And, I thought that it would never happen.
May the LORD be behind him in all that he attempts!
My daughter just moved away from Komiefornia last November, and I hope that she never, never goes back.
... I will say that the Bay Area is a nice area to visit for scenery, but not for the people.

This gentleman needs some vocal supporters. The other side is vocal enough, and has a platform through which to spew their garbage via the media.

I think there are going to be a lot of municipalities keeping track of this Law Enforcement Officer...
As soon as the ninnies in S.F. run him off, he'll hopefully do what a lot of people do in that area how have had enough...
I don't think he'll come to Houston or any other really large city looking for a job...
I bet he'll get hired at some smaller force and be the best thing that place will see for the rest of his career...
I wish him well...He's got the right stuff...

I couldn't open it. Is there another link/ web address I can go to and access it from there?
I tried C&P to another screen, but it didn't work.
