A proper holster

Finally received an MTAC for my 1911 today, very nice. I think I like this better than my Crossbreed but time will tell. Also got the single mag holder and gunbelt.
Feels good to have the proper equipment. BTW the Crossbreed is for my Glock so it's hard to compare, but it seems the MTAC is more comfortable.

Is that kydex? Or black leather? I would say it's partially more comfortable because it's a single stack gun, but always carry and carry what works for you! It's a good looking holster.

The black stuff is kydex. (I have one of those, too.)

Very nice slinco.
I have always loved the Crossbreed Supertuck, but I must say that the MTAC appears to have a nicer fit and finish.
I really like the stitch work around the edges. Not so crazy about the clips though.
Do they work as well as the Supertuck clips?

Very nice holster. I have the same one for my Glock's. It is very comfortable and stable and conceals very well. I have found with the slightly thinner clips and the lower mount point it is easier to tuck in my shirt over the crossbread.

I have the same as well. I have the clips dropped to the lowest point so that it sits lower in my pants. Just the grip sticks out at all.

I have the same holster for my Springfield XD40 Sub-compact. It is comfortabal to wear. Since I cannot carry at work I leave my weapon in the truck and I find the holster easy to take off and put on because of the clips. I carried a Taurus PT140 in a Kholster previously with metal clips and found it difficult to get off and on at times, but it was comfortable also. The Minotaur is finished better than the Kholster also.
I just ordered the Comp-Tac Minotaur for my wife for her Glock 27.

Nice setup! I'm loving my MTAC as well, only had it a little over a week.
In addition to a top notch holster, CompTac's gun belts are second to none! Highly recommended.
