Well, thanks, but it's getting some visible wear and a turn line as it should.

I'm a diehard Smith & Wesson guy, but I'm not sure even the prettiest chief's special can compare to the beauty of that DS.

What's your carry method? Pocket holster?

I really like that revolver, it's a BEAUTY! Can you provide more info/model number, etc? I don't have much experience with Colt revolvers.

It's a 1982 Colt Cobra, lightweight alloy frame with the shrouded barrel, commonly known as a "D frame" Colt.

I use a SmartCarry holster since there are times when it has to be absolutely concealed with no chance of being "made" by a shirttail, coattail, trouser leg revealing that I'm carrying.

It's not for every body or every situation, but it fits mine perfectly.

I'm sorry, but that's an ugly gun and you should send it to me for proper disposal :-)

how comfortable is that in the "Texas Heat" {tm} ? And does it have a 2nd pocket for a speedloader/strip?

Comfortable enough for me to forget it's there and hotfoot it back to the car to remove it before walking through the courthouse front doors.
