Anybody have experience with one of these?

I have & dont care for it. Draw is harder & slower. Easier to stall your draw. Harder to get to in a fight than side or shoulder carry. Some think more prone to back injury if fall on it in a fight. I dont think that any more than a kidney blow & injury if I am knocked down on my belt carry at 3:30.
I only know of one man that carries SOB & he likes it. Everyone else that I know that has tried it does not like it.

I used to carry a Colt Detective Special in a SOB holster when I was a LEO and off-duty or working plain clothes. However, that was when I was young and REALLY skinny. As I have gained in age, slower movements, stiff joints and more girth of the body, SOB doesn't work well at all.

I've had pretty consistent feedback about SOB holsters that is similar to this. I thought one would be a decent option to concealed carry for me as I have gotten larger, but I don't hear a lot of good feedback from people about them.

I may just have to spend the money to see if I would like one or not.

Since several members here have tried it and not liked it, at least some may have one in their holster drawer and be willing to let you borrow it.

About two months ago I started carrying a bond arm derringer in a SOB holster for a bug. I carry it 7 days a week for about 18 hours a day. I like it very much. I completely forget it is even there. I don't carry at 6:00 because it is uncomfortable while sitting. Rather than that, I carry it at about 5:30, just off my spine. It works for me and is extremely concealable. I chose the SOB so that it would not get in the way of my main carry, which is a strong side OWB rig. Everyone is a little different, and I have never been able to comfortably pocket carry. The big bump in my pocket makes me nuts.

Remember there is a good chance of sweeping yourself in a gunfight when you go to pull it. I'd be worried about reflexive pulling of the trigger. It may or may not be a concern but in a shooting with nerves and adrenaline flowing it's hard to say for certain that you won't or can't make such a mistake.

I have a SOB for a Colt LW Officers you can try in Plano. I guarantee by the drive home you will give it back to me.

I'd take you up on that, but it's a Glock 22.

SOB is a very concealable location with even a good sized gun, which makes it a tempting spot. However, as a wheelchair seating specialist, I must highly recommend agaist having anything hard agaist your spine that you could fall back onto if knocked down. Business is good and I don't need you as a customer.

I carry my G27 SOB in a Galco in cooler months.
Usually it's under a jacket or sweat shirt.
It was my first method of concealment and I think I just got used to it.
I am definitely aware of sweeping myself if I need to draw and have practiced not doing that.
It's not my primary method of carry.
I use it mainly when out for a walk with the dogs or some other casual stroll.

I sometimes do, and would more often if I had a SOB holster with my G19, as a skinny guy (5'10" 140lb on a heavy day) either have to position my gun perfectly at about 4:00 or it sticks out, anywhere from 3:00-3:50 the butt sticks very obviously out, and anything from about 4:10 - 5:30 the butt sticks very obviously out. sometimes it's just easier to put it back there with my IWB holster (it's an awkward draw though). If you ride a motorcycle it might be more comfortable for you to have it as SOB compared to a 3:00-ish position.
