I am going to be going to Witchita, Kansas this weekend to go visit my grandfather. I have not seen him in five years and I was wondering what the laws are in Kansas and how and where I can carry?

There is no reciprocity with Kansas yet. Actually, I'm not sure their licences are even in effect until January 1st.

the answer is no,DO NOT CARRY IN KANSAS.My wife is from there and we go up there quite often.They are very strict about it.After jan 1,they should post about the carrying but you can't do it now.sj

If you are serious enough to go armed in another state, whether it is a pistol or shotgun or long gun, you owe it to yourself to get your legal information from one of the above reputable websites and not from a forum like this. No offense intended, but there is a lot of misinformation "out there" and carrying lethal weapons is not something you want to be wrong about because you read it on an on-line forum somewhere.
