Not bad and mostly true.

Then you have the government buildings thing which can be tricky depending on what they're used for.

That paragraph could have used a "where they're permitted to legally do so" or some such caveat, but not to get as technical as to mention a 30.06 sign since most who read that article probably won't know what a 30.06 sign is.

I just posted from the standpoint of a faculty member who would love to be able to use a CHL on campus to protect my students or myself if, God fobid, it ever becomes necessary. So far, none of the opponents have moved beyond the "guns are bad, and only bad or stupid people want to carry a gun" arguments.

Speaking of “victim-rich” areas, you see San Antonio College on the news?
They have to use the “buddy system” to go to the bathroom, and they still get robbed. (They need bathroom cameras for security) they just installed electronic locks .......... so if a shooter is in a building with lots of students they can instantly lock them all in together…. think about that.

(Yeah, SAC is a "junior college" so people think 18 year-olds, but I was about 26 or so when I went "back to school" to "Junior College" after becoming a Real Estate Broker working for years and wanting a career change ...)
