"FIREBREATING MACHINE.
THIS IS BRAND NEW IN THE BOX WITH FULL FACORY WARRANTY. "
I just can't bring myself to purchase from a shop that has this level of care taken in their ads. If they are this lazy, I can't trust them to put any extra effort in on my behalf for my stuff.

Hey, if you can find the "facory," they'll guaranty that your machine will "breat" fire! ;-)

Additionally, once you put that on your handgun frame your handgun becomes a rifle and will require a $200 tax stamp (for an SBR) to legally put the slide back on it based on the BATFE's current interpretation of the laws and regulations.

I kind of like it. Not sure I would pay that much for it, but I do like it.

Absolute waste of money when you can buy a keltec carbine for a couple hundred that uses the same magazines, or a freakin AR for that kind of money.

Yep. I'm a little surprised that the listing didn't have the usual weasel words "All NFA rules apply".

I've seen bigger wastes of money!

if you took off the collapsible stock, wouldn't it be classed as a pistol? I don't remember all the rules as it's not something I think about often.

one of those with the 33rd Glock mag would be fun in a IPSC match! I'm just thinking (jokingly) in my head about all the crazy "open" guns I've seen...

Its a 16.25'' barrel, no NFA rules would apply. Kinda like putting a stock on a 16'' Buntline.
Something like this however would require said stamp.

It would require a stamp to legally put the pistol slide and barrel back on it. The BATFE is of the opinion "once a rifle, always a rifle."

It would not require a stamp to put this kit on a Glock pistol.

Let's see, the "buy now" price for that Mec Tech CCU was $659.00. For $280.00, you can get a Kel-Tec Sub 2000 that will fold in half for concealment, and will take your Glock magazines, and is chambered in either 9mm or .40 S&W — if you're into that sort of thing. I'm not. If I were, I'd buy a 9mm upper for my AR15.

Besides, the Mec Tech CCU comes with a "FULL FACORY WARRANTY".... ....and I'm not sure I want my facory warranteed without knowing what that means.
