i call it that due to it being imported fully assembled during the rush after he was elected. the factory here usually assembles them from parts that are shipped over. you can tell they are imported due to the markings on the barrel, slide, frame, under the trigger guard, and above the thumbrest on the ejection port side.

the markings on the slide, barrel, and frame are but there when they are test fired. they may be hard to see in the pics but the markings consist of an eagle with NPv next to it. the NP stands for nitro proofed and the v stands for vienna where this is done. from what i have gathered the testing rounds are 130% of our nato rounds if that makes sense. i tried to get a pic of the markings on the top of the barrel but none of them came out clear.

the markings above the thumbrest usually MADE IN AUSTRIA GLOCK, INC. , SMYRNA, GA.. on the imported ones they say MADE IN AUSTRIA GLOCK Ges.m.b.H as seen below

usually there are no markings under the trigger guard, but imported glocks will say GLOCK, INC. , SMYRNA, GA. as seen below.

i had two of these but now only have one. i wish i would have kept the other one as it was made 60 guns after this one. as far as i know only the glock 19 was imported during the rush. i've never heard of any other models being imported at that time. this was the first glock i bought and i've never looked back. the one that started it all....

Interesting, I learn sumpin' new every day, thanks.

I wish I'd have kept my OLD Glocks, the first old 17s I sold last year thinking my second Gen ones were better, but I did keep my made in 1989 model 19, so it was one of the early batch arrivals of 19s I'm told.... and it's takin a lickin and kept on tickin (only had Upgrades by certified Glock Armorers along the way of some internals when Glock advised to)

Better watch out. Using a term like "Obama Glock" will get you investigated by the libs for threatening speech.

12 hours? Surely this forum is on Napolitano's watch list for those conservative potential terrorists. They're probably already on their way.
