I have always use a IWB holster, but the Houston summer heat is making me think about OWB holster. I always wear a t-shirt untucked and wonder if I'll be able to pull it off. If you carry OWB, I would love to hear how you do it and what holster you use. Thanks.

It's all about the holster and belt. The gun needs to ride high with a decent cant.
I do find it easier to carry a slimmer gun such as a 1911 than I did with something like an XD or Glock.

Regular T-Shirts are not a problem for me if they are long enough
to conceal the bottom of my holster, especially while in a seated position.

I don't worry about printing as much as I did at first. A well trained eye
might notice the slight bulge, but the general public doesn't have a clue.

An oversized t-shirt is good start, a thick and darker one is better. I prefer to wear OWB (pancake leather holster or Serpa) or Belly band in the winter under light jacket or heavy sweater.
In summer a nice fannypack is to the rescue.

I carry OWB occasionally. Slightly longer shirts and a gun with a shorter slide makes a big difference. As well as having a good gun belt. I like the button up shirts that are cut straight along the bottom, often called "camp" style shirts.

I have a Galco holster, and I've read where others say you need a good belt, so I guess that will be the next item on my shopping list.

Right now my wardrobe consists of mainly t-shirts. I suppose I will also have to get some decent shirts.

All of the above with a SA Compact 1911 LW in a Don Hume J.I.T. OWB holster...everyday everywhere.

Buddy of mine wears a Kimber UC 2 OWB at 3:00 ... not sure of what leather holster, but only wears a Tee-shirt ... I never noticed it until he showed me.... We were outside his house, and I knew he had a CHL and asked why he wasn't carrying, then he showed me.

A good holster and belt are #1 then comes the clothes a loose fitting untucked tee shirt will do the trick if it's long enough. I buy tee shirts one size larger than I would normaly wear, if I can find "tall" I buy those. A loose untucked polo or button up will do also. Avoid white and other "see through" colors I'm fond of patterned or bold prints. A blue work shirt is a great summer cover.

I like the Don Hume 721 OT holster for OWB they are well made, affordable, and available for nearly all handguns. Belt - - - Wilderness instructor, Frequent flyer, 511, and several custom made belts keep my gun and pants off the floor. ;-)

When I bought the holster, the knowledgeable-seeming gentleman who sold it to me was told me he wears a camera-type vest for concealment. The problem I have is I'm a 20-something year old. I've never seen anyone in my age group where a camera-type vest. I guess I need to keep a sharper eye out for what others in my age group wear that could offer concealment. If I was a confident guy 24/7, I might consider tying to pull it off, but I don't always feel confident  Maybe if I conceal carry, I would feel confident, but I don't think that is a completely legitimate reason to carry. I want to carry to be prepared; to protect myself and others.

I am thinking about buying a pocket pistol :???: On one hand I would love another gun, on the other hand it's going to cost me.

JCPenneys big and tall

My friend I mentioned above is in his 20s, wears a Kimber UltraCarry 2 OWB at 3:00 and shops at J. C. Penneys for extra long (tall) oversized larger shirts. The larger and TALL shirts conceal well.

Edited for clarification

No need to spend money on a camera vest---or a pocket pistol.

Some of the issues you probably have in mind have already been treated here before.

I OWB conceal-carry a full-sized handgun, with a regularly-sized, square-cut buttondown shirt.
