I have the XD9sc, and use the Crossbreed Supertuck.
My Brother in Law has the XDm 4.5, and while I have not carried concealed with his weapon, it fits my holster nicely and would not mind carrying it in it.

I can also recommend the Crossbreed Supertuck as well as the CompTac MTAC which is a similar design. For my XDm-40 and XDm-45 (both are 4.5 inch guns) I went with the MTAC because it was available right then without any kind of wait.

Check out High Noon as well (what I use), though my Father-in-Law loves his Crossbreed.

Comp-tac's Infidel is a great holster very simple and surprisingly comfortable.

I have a Crosbreed Supertuck and a Tucker
The Answer (for two different pistols).
Very similar design. Tucker claims that Crossbreed copied them. Obviously more craftsmanship went into the Tucker. Also, the tension (how tight it holds the pistol) is adjustable on the Tucker. The Crossbreed costs a little less. Tucker is made in Texas.
They both do the job equally well.
My main carry rig, Kimber Ultra CDP II in Tucker Gun Leather The Answer:
The Answer reviewed in
this thread by StrykerDM. Lots of good pics.
EDIT: My newest holster is a Comp-Tac belt holster. It's not IWB, but I can say they make a quality holster as well. It arrived quickly and with no hassle. And that's another Texas company.

Interesting. I think Tucker and Comp Tac's products look more similar, especially the way the kydex shell is shaped (little 90-degree flange around bottom of trigger guard) and secured with screws with rubber gaskets as spacers on adjustable side. Also Tucker and Comp Tac are both Texas companies (both in Houston area, I believe). And Tucker and Comp Tac both put the depth/cant adjustment holes on the clip. The Crossbreed holster shell is riveted in place and unmoveable/unadjustable (other than by heating the kydex), and the depth/cant adjustment holes are in the leather not on the clips.
I really do like the idea of that velvet-looking cloth backing on the Tucker too. Has that held up well for you?

It was Garrett of Comp-Tac and Tucker who collaborated to make the first commercially-available leather/Kydex hybrid. I'm not sure if Tucker does his own Kydex work now, but it's possible he still sources the Kydex shells from Comp-Tac.

It's suede, and yes, it's held up great.
