It seems like you can find most ammo these days Except .380 acp.
Today I purchased a Bersa .380 it was the kit with 2 mags but best of all it came with a 50 rounds of good reloaderable ammo. Out the door price 350. The place was selling the ammo for 27.00 per box
I decided to get more .380 and humm that's when my problem started.
02-12-11 I went to Academy in Beaumont just 3 boxes of .380 of personal defense 20 rounds 24.00
Academy on highway 360 in Port Authur No .380 in the store.
I will check Walmart there tomorrow

Also, my
True Value or ACE hardware store has several types, Hydra Shoks, UMC etc etc.
Of course some pawn shops sell ammo too, but I like the hardware store.

Try Cheaper than Dirt... Their prices are usually a bit above everybody else, but whatever it is you need, they've got it...

Everywhere I have been lately, they are plentiful again. Even our Wal-Mart is carrying .380.

I checked the ammo in my nearest Wal-Mart yesterday (Aransas Pass). They had some steel cased .380 for about $12.00, a mid-brand for $14.00, and the Remington FMJ for $17.00.
Supply seems to be getting better.

I was in Academy in San Antonio the other day and they had a ton of it. And it was reasonably priced as well.
Also my local Wally World had a bunch of it yesterday when I was there. Mostly the new Tula Ammo.
A lot of people have said that the Tula Ammo works well but I bought a box and fired it through the Kimber and every third or fourth round would not feed properly.

The only ammo that I find can be hit or miss is 357 Sig, the other calibers are readily available.

With .380 I keep a minimum amount for WTSHTF. I also have an amount that when I reach it, I begin looking for more. I then begin checking various Academy stores near me and near work until I find some. It usually takes a month of looking. Hopefully during this time I do not reach the WTSHTF level before I find some.
It is not as bad as a year ago. I actually saw some in Walmart a while back, and I did not purchase it, because I did not need any. Resist the temptation to hoard the .380 as it only makes the problem worse.
