My sister wants to get her CHL and can only do it on Sundays.
She lives in South West Houston
Any recommendations

Randy Riener will have a class on Saturday and Sunday at HTTP://ChlNow.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Basically he has classes every day of the month. He takes walk-ins if there is space in the class. Hwy 6 at Interstate 10. Hope this helps.

Tom Estep (ElGato on this forum) has Sunday classes. He teaches at The Arms Room now.

It may be a bit of a drive, but it's one day in five years, and well worth the trip IMO. Tom is a great instructor for women, even those who may need a confidence boost.

I didn't relize Tom is teaching on Sundays now
Mrs FL450 and myself took our CHL from Tom

Back in 2008 and 2009 when people were buying firearms and getting CHLs like crazy, Tom was teaching classes on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I have not seen him for a while, but you can certain call him and ask.

I spoke w Tom about this just in the last 4 to 6 weeks or so. Unfortunately, he's only teaching Wed & Saturdays at the Arms Room right now. There *is* a Sunday class there, it's just with different instructors.

I think Tom does the class on Saturdays at the Arms Room, and Justin Franklin does it on Sunday.

i second this recommendation. we had a couple walk-ins in our class, as long as there is room then you're more than welcome to join without any pre-registration. check http://www.chlnow.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, there's a calendar on there where he'll indicate any days that there's not a class. he teaches the class in an office building on I-10 @ hwy 6, and takes his students down the road to the Memorial Shooting Center for the shooting proficiency test (about a 5 minute drive). i really enjoyed his class and highly recommend him.
