Springfield C/S comes through again! AAA+++

I purchased a NEW EMP online (Gunsamerica) on 5-13-10. When I received the pistol I noticed that the front Trijicon Sight was “dead on arrival”.
I called Springfield C/S and explained the problem and they suggested that I send the slide to Trijicon for a replacement sight. I contacted Trijicon on 5/18/10 and they issued a RMA number and told me to send the slide. I sent it to them on the same day 5/18/02.
I received the slide back a couple of weeks later and immediately noticed that they replaced the entire front sight rather than just replacing the vile.
The sight they put on the gun did not appear to be of the same style as the original rear sights and was very hard to see, even in daylight. I shot the gun at the range and found that the gun shot low with the sights lined up correctly. I have to put the desired POI COVERED with the lined up sights in order to hit the desired point. In other words, I cannot use the lined up sights with the desired POI sitting just on top of the front sight.
The sight was almost useless to me as it is very hard to see. It was not as white as the rear ones and when lined up with them in daylight it appears almost black. I do not believe it is the correct sight for this pistol and that is why I contacted Springfield again yesterday.
The C/S rep discussed the situation with her supervisor and a manager, called me back and was kind enough to issue me a RMA number and also a prepaid Fed-Ex label to send the gun back to Springfield. She said that they would take care of it and to send the gun and one magazine so that they could test fire it after they install new sights.
This of course is what should have happened the first time I called them, but it did not. I am happy to report that with some persistence on my part, I am now getting it done correctly by the gun manufacturer, on their dime!
Kudos to Springfield..........AGAIN!
