New holster system

A couple of weeks ago, I picked up a new Gen 4 Glock 19 at GT Distributors in Austin. I finally ordered a holster for it on Monday. Yesterday it arrived, and I've been carrying in it all day. Since it isn't one of the more common holster brands, I thought I'd give y'all my early impressions.

The G Code kydex holster is made by Edgeworks Manufacturing in North Carolina. It is marketed as a holster system, with different mounts and attachments based on your needs. I ordered the holster with paddle attachment and single mag carrier package listed at Gunner's Alley, along with the Comfort Carry IWB attachment. Total shipped to my door was $84.50.
Ordering: The website is easy to navigate and use, and shipping was fast. I placed my order on Monday morning, and the package was waiting for me at my door when I got home yesterday afternoon.
Construction: Unlike most of the kydex holsters I see, the G Code is made out of 2 sheets of plastic. This eliminates the kydex sheet wrapping around the top of the slide/barrel, which seems to me to be the place of the highest stress and the most common place for kydex holsters to crack. The holster is extremely well formed to the pistol. There are no burrs or sharp edges to the holster. Retention is positive and easily adjustable, and the holster has a built-in kydex sweat shield. Both the paddle itself and the mag carrier are of equal quality. The mag carrier can be carried IWB or OWB, at vertical, horizontal, or 15 degree cant positions, and has an adjustable retention screw. The comfort carry IWB attachment is made of cordura mylon and velcro. If features 1 way snaps for the belt loops, which will fit up to a 1.75" belt. Attaching the holster to either the paddle or the comfort carry is done with Chicago screws.
Paddle wear: I carried with the paddle attachment last night. The paddle can be worn at either a straight drop or 15 degree cant. Unlike other paddles I have tried, the G Code kept the butt of the pistol in close to my side, allowing me to conceal easily under a loose top or light jacket. It is very comfortable. It retains itself well on the belt, but still manages to be much easier to remove than the SERPA paddle.
Comfort Carry IWB: I put the holster on the IWB harness last night and have been carrying with this all day. I am very impressed with the comfort and ease of wear. Comfort level is on par with my MTAC after it was well broken in, and it conceals just as well. Adjustments to depth and cant are made by where you mount the holster on the IWB harness, as opposed to adjusting the belt straps or clips like on a Comp-Tac holster. The one-way snaps fasten securely to your belt. While I would prefer a C-clip attachment, the straps work perfectly well. This IWB is not tuckable.
Other attachments: There is a belt loop attachment for OWB, a drop leg rig, a MOLLE claw, and a dual mag carrier. They also make an extender to make the OWB options ride lower. There is a quick-mount option. This holster is IDPA approved.
Overall, I am very impressed with it so far. It is just as comfortable as my MTAC, needed no break-in and, for the holster with IWB attachment alone, can be had for half the price. Time will tell, but I think I may have found a new favorite kydex holster maker.
