Kahr CW9 prices

While visiting my mother yesterday, I looked through her local newspaper. Someone had an ad for a CW9, "Bought for $450 six months ago", for $375.
I don't keep up with Kahr prices, but that seemed pretty good to me. Thoughts?
Oh, and it was in Mena, AR, so shipping and FFL transfer would eat up the savings.

That sounds about right. Lady student told me she bought one at FW gun show for close to $400 - but that was at least six months ago.
For no more difference than there is (if it wuz me and no opportunity to shoot it first), I'd shop for a new one in the event need for "lifetime warranty" - if ya ship it back enough times, sometime in your lifetime, theyll make it right.
(Don't get me wrong, I've got 2 Kahrs and have had no major probs with either.)

Yesterday at GRB, I was assisting great nephew and girlfriend begin their search for CHL handguns.
I noted prices that I saw for CW9 as part of that.
A used one was selling for $350, while a new one was $369.
No way I'd settle for a used one.

I paid $379 new at a gun show about 6 months ago. I carry it in a Sparks Watch Six, and couldn't be happier. Carries like a compact, shoots like an intermediate or a full size.

I just realized that I had forgotten what it was like to watch the newpaper classifieds for firearms.
Our local, liberal rag, The Houston Chronicle, and many other papers banned such ads years ago.
If you can still read gun classifieds in your newspaper, appreciate it.

This wasn't even a classified ad... it was a 3" x 2 column ad, with photo. Small-town newspaper advertising is cheap.
In an area where there are no big gun shows within a hundred miles, and only a couple of mom-n-pop gun shops aimed at deer hunters, I'd say that $375 used would be a reasonable price.

+1 to what Mike1951 said. I picked up one at the GRB saturday for $369 + tax. The one they had used for $350 they claimed was only shot once by the guy and brought back. I'm not buying a used gun to save $19 though.
Hopefully I'll get to shoot it sometime this week.
