That thing is really ancient, exactly the same as one my father had in his collection when I was a kid. It's a pinfire revolver c1836, and kind of delicate considering its avowed purpose. I don't know that I would want to hit anyone with the brass knuckles with it folded up, if a tooth came in contact with one of the pins it would be kind of like holding a grenade in your hand as it detonated.

Considering that I have no idea what happened to my father's collection after he died, along with several guns of mine that he never returned to me, I have to wonder . . .

I want to see one fired. I'm curious to see where the bullet goes from a gun without a barrel.

The cylinder is the barrel. It was about three times as long as the cartridge.
