I'm not sure what the question is. Are you seeing a conflict in the headlines?

"Withdraw" and "Redeploy" mean the same thing: bringing them home. When troops deploy, they go; when they redeploy, they come back.

Ah, I thought they meant Redeploy more troops.

Guess that is what public schools will get ya. :oops:

Looks like the second headline has now been changed to, "Democrats to Press Bush to Reduce Troops in Iraq".

That's today's lesson in military lingo. "Redeploy" doesn't mean "deploy again", it means "undeploy". It probably should be "reploy", but good luck changing mil-speak.
