Any recommendations for a functional daytimer 'holster"? Functional for work as well as an optional carry, that is.

I've never seen one in person, but this is an option:

For those that know me, the NRA seal would be as subtle as the CHL badge.

I used to carry a Galco "Hidden Agenda" back when everyone carried Day Planners.

Not so much now. It's hard to hide a Glock in your Ipod case.

I like the CompTac line of holsters, but then again, I'm partial to Texas stuff...

I'm not so in need of a calendar or address book since my phone covers that duty but a refillable, standard writing tablet with slots for a cards and a pen or 2 is what I need.

I figured it would be a good option for car to car carry.

Are you asking about off-body?
I have used Wilderness Safepacker as hand carried and owb and on the seatbelt.

I guess some of you are too young to know anything about it, but between stone tablet and computer, we used things called pa-per and pen-cil. :rolll

I have the "daytimer" gun carry case. I keep it in my car in case I want to carry in someplace where I cannot holster up discretely. When I first carried before my holster came in I used it regularly. Now I carry IWB. Recently I found the daytimer and put it in my car for possible use. A couple of times I did use it and found it very worrisome. Carrying off body is hard because you cannot let it out of your control. When working, I find myself too distracted worrying where it is. I end up carrying it in and out as I work. Very clumsy.

If I was sitting at a desk or in a waiting room etc., it's fine. No one would suspect it's a gun. Certainly in a car on a trip it is a perfect way to conceal even while carrying to and from the vehicle. After carrying on body though, it's hard to find that many places where the off body carry is useful, and safe...

I got mine at a army/navy store, so it's the DigitalCamo, but as you kin see, they has the other colors!
It also has a pocket, which would reside directly against your back, which is perfect for totin' a 9mmHeater!
