I looking for a Compact 40cal to be my daily carry. My Walter P99 is just a little to big. Any suggestion and where to go?

Thanks

Springfield XD40 subcompact.

Thousands of rounds and has never skipped a beat. every single time I have ever pulled the trigger, it went bang and cycled properly.

Glock 27 is my daily carry.

It has never missed a beat and conceals perfectly.

Highly recommended!

But I am biased.

My G27 is with me pretty much everywhere but in the shower (not that it wouldn't do its job if necessary there, too). Find a buddy who has one or find one to rent and you'll likely end up owning one, too.

i was on the Glock bandwagon until i tried out an M&P 40c and i absolutely love it. with my IWB holster it's very easily concealed, even under light t shirts. heck, even shirts that i figured were too tight or short for concealed carry have been no problem. i don't carry everywhere i go, so my wife has made it sort of a game to try to figure out when i'm carrying and it's even impossible for her to tell sometimes without feeling around my waist.

Same size as the XD... Just a bit better in my hand... YMMV
The XD would likely be my 2nd choice for a compact .40..

Also.. the Springfield EMP looks and feels great in my hand... but it seems a bit heavy to me...
Never fired or tried to carry one.. but... would definitely have it on my list if I was looking for another .40.

Have fun shopping..

If you like walther, try the PPS. A bit on the expensive side, but I love mine!

another glocker here. you can't go wrong with the 23. are you also open to a sub-compact? if so, 27 fits the bill. it's been my daily cc since the beginning of the year. so far so good! check out page 86 on the pics of your daily carry thread.

My vote goes for a Smith & Wesson M&P 40 compact.

M&P compact. Has a short picatinny rail on the bottom, G27 doesn't offer one. XD subcompact looked pretty sweet, but still went with S&W. M&P9c was my choice for now

Curious if you use your rail for any thing?

It sure makes finding a holster more difficult if it is used.
