Guns are dangerous. Imagine what could have happened if the convict had gotten the gun away from her. They both might be dead. They should have called 911 and waited for the police to handle the situation.

Glad their both OK. Hmmm... He's 42 and she's 25.. I think he got the good end of the deal on this one. I'm also thinking about becoming an Arborist. Seems they are making good money these days. Being from Florida maybe he works on Columbian trees

From the reports, sounds like she zippered him too. (shots in the chest, back, groin, and thigh).

Seems her aim at the range was just due to a lack of necessity. When it counted, she could hit center of mass and the groin area just fine.

...if the pizza man'd been a good little boy, it wouldn't have mattered...evil is as evil does...he deserved those 4 and one more...the guy who did the invasion prolly woulda loved to share with him...wonder if he could be prosecuted for being a conspirator in a crime ending in a death???

“We live in a very prominent area and my fiancee wears a $60,000 engagement ring,” he said. “The pizza man knew we had money because sometimes we needed change for a $100 bill when he came to deliver pizza.”

This whole story sounds like it was written for the Sunday supplement in the Living Section rather than a crime report. I think this man is bragging and is plain stupid for saying this to a reporter. Now the next robber knows where to make a big score and that they have a gun. Maybe he should have told them what room in his 2,732-square-foot house that his fiance keeps the gun.
