I just received my renewal CHL and it has "Instructor" at the top. (I am an Instructor) I didn't know they were doing this but I think it is a good thing.

We were told they chose not to do this because the two are not directly tied together. If you don't renew your instructor certification, your CHL would be wrong. Maybe someone had a change of heart.
