I'm a new guy round here, and am often 'lurking' about (sounds kinda creepy). Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you to the forum as a whole, you all have given me company for my misery more than once whilst my anxiety was on the rise. I never knew waiting 'til I was waiting for that little card. I realized though, that this feeling I had while I was waiting had little to do with my affinity for firearms and shooting, but rather, my angst arouse from my need to feel as though I was adequately protecting my family and all those around me which I care for. I suddenly found myself feeling irresponsible for not having done this for so long. Well, as of yesterday, May 13th, I feel this way no more. I have become a sheep dog. Often were the times that I had checked here for; "how long 'til background turns green", "how long after 'mailed' 'til it arrives", etc. Thank you all very much, I'm very glad to join this community!

I think most of us would agree that we also waited too long to make the decision to get our CHL. The important thing is that you did it ...many don't.
