My first traffic stop (with CHL) (without Ticket)

Got my first stop. Pulled over about an hour ago for headlight out and couldn't find new insurance card either. I gave the officer my CHL and DL and he asked where it was located. Told him IWB and he went back to run my ID while I was searching for insurance. He came back and told him I couldn't find it, so he just said put it in the car when I get home and take care of the headlight. And thanks for showing him my CHL. I was off and back on the road in no time. He was real cool. MoCity PD.
First time I've been pulled over and no ticket. All other times ended with Defensive Driving.

You guys beat the sox off me. I have never been stopped w/o a ticket.
Only time stopped after CHL was 1st of the summer (Dimebox Encounter, under this topic.)
Still got one. Had everything. He was polite. Asked where it was. 3:00 under my shirt. No conversation on arms, ammo, hunting, nothing.
Smiled & said please sign here.
Before that, it has been since 1987 since I got a ticket, so I dont speed.
Oh well. If I can go another 20 yrs that may be all of my driving.

Glad you had a good encounter, Lucky. If you have a moment, drop his commander a note to reinforce the trooper's good behavior.

I've got you beat Longtooth, I haven't gotten a ticket in 41 yrs.

My wife has beat you Tote. She has not had a ticket in 47 years.
I'll chip in, my wife has never had one in 35 years of licenced driving. At one time she worked as the executive secretary to a police chief, and that little item became known in their office.
She had officers following her home and to work everyday looking for a infraction.
