We're on the same wavelength!
I posted today in this thread

suggesting that TAM have a look at the EMP over the Kahr.
Now you have a mini range report on it.
I love mine and it will never leave my possession as long as I am on this Earth.

Of course I have to be the wiseacre here......would you have shot better if you were on all fours and not just your hindlegs?
That EMP sounds like something I might be interested in looking into.

joe817, our long lost forum friend, shoots a small Colt .380 but said his moveup gun would be a Springer EMP.

Andy - you could make a junky kimber shoot sub MOA at 100 yds....it's clearly the shooter that needs props!
I don't think I could hit paper at 25 yds with a laser....(kidding). Nice write up - I've heard the Range Officer was to answer the need for a mid-grade competition gun for the guys that don't have the jack for a race gun. Glad to see it performs well in that regard.

Thanks for the review. A buddy of mine just got a Springfield EMP last week. He invited me to the range to shoot it this past weekend but I had to work.
Hopefully I will be able to play with it soon, the EMP seems like a really nifty carry option.

I had someone let me shoot an EMP right when they first came out. They are nice guns.

I have had an EMP for a couple years now, and I think I've shot it at the range twice. Still one of my favorite guns, but I don't carry. For me a carry gun needs to be DA.
I have since bought a Para LDA/PDA in 9mm, very much the same specs as the EMP. I measured and weighed both side by side and the differences are so small as to be inconsequential, including LOP.
The LDA comes in .45 ACP as well. If the .45 version holds the same dimensions, it would be an excellent choice.
But I'm still packin' my LCP. I need to look at the LC9
