Advice from you Colt SAA owners

I bought 2 SAA's (1883 and 1886 mfr) at the Pasadena show sunday. They dont appear to have much finish if any left but seem to be mechanically fine other than both cylinders are a little loose. They came with the Colt Archive letters as well. Owner said that they were both original except for grips and ejector lever handles. Now can I replace the grips or get any kind of refinish work done? The metal does show some pitting but not bad IMO. Will refinishing in factory finish (I assume blued) hurt/help the value? By refinish I do mean by a pro like Turnbull or something. I will post pics if I can. I know 1911's inside and out but revolvers are not in my realm at all.
