How is the Conroe show? Good selection? Is there much jerky, jewelry, Nazi, or other non-gun tables? Free parking?

We're thinking of going next weekend but wonder if it's worth the drive.

I asked a couple of vendors at the GRB show about it.

They said now that High Caliber has taken over it's well worth it for them to be there.

I'm gearing up for my first trip to the conroe show since moving down this way last year... So I hope it's worth it. Hoping to find a mkii 22/45 for practice and maybe a pocket pistol. That is if I can stay away from the WWII era goodies, I developed a bit of an obsession a couple years ago after aquiring my first Sprindfield 1903. I chose this weekend over Houston or Pasedena because it's my bday weekend so I'm aiming to splurge a little. I'll be the guy with the Really big smile.

Are they CHL friendly? Based on the other thread about anti-CHL gun shows, I better ask before we make the drive.

All High Cal shows are posted 30.06 as are most shows. It is what it is! The show is typically a decent show with decent items and a good crowd. It is also a great study in sociology as are most shows

Thanks! It would have been sad to drive all the way there and not be able to enter because they don't like CHL. We could have made an afternoon at Market Street or Old Town Spring, where CHL is welcome, but there's plenty of shopping closer to home. And online. Especially at current gas prices.

It's a good show....5 minutes from house!! They will be posted and parking is free. Entrance into show is $7.00, unles you are signed up for High Caliber emails. They send a coupon worth a dollar off. Get there early, as it tends to get a little crowded.
