hmmm, I'm brainstorming here....as I'm laughing, I can just imagine, 'cause I know they didn't say it quietly

at that age they don't do anything quietly do they?
OK, assuming you're wearing it under-belly, you could put a strap, or 2, over shoulder?

Easy solution...put the gun in your purse and wrap the band around the mouth of the kids!!!

  Problem solved!!!

Suspenders. Seriously. Any fat guy can tell you that.

They make suspenders that clip onto your pants, instead of buttoning on. Maybe a set of those suspenders, clipped to the top of the belly band would work?

Mom can't use purse carry with small children....kids tend to go into mommy's purse...mommy's purse carries hot wheels, baby's paci, barbie's coat, pens and notebooks...it seriously isn't the place for the gun too.
my kids are 15 and 18, I only started to purse carry a year ago, after a long sit down, my daughter is seriously looking forward to when she can carry.

Kids are cute at that age. I recall another forum member telling how his little boy yelled out "Owie, I hit my head on your gumb" while in a store.

My belly band came with a little removable strap that velcros to each side and is a retention strap. While I am not pregnant (Thank goodness and many blessings to you I am just done), I do wear a belly band often with scrubs and have gotten into the habit of one hand on the gun and pulling the band up higher before I sit.
I applaud you for not only carrying while pregnant but with munchins in tow. I think I have finally broken my Mom of asking me loudly when we go out if I have a gun on me. She just now knows the answer is yes and if not nunyah!
Good luck!

Thanks yall! I will look into all of the above as soon as I possibly can. It maybe a week or two since we are heading to the people's republic of NY and won't be taking our guns along. But the kids have to see their grandparents once in a while so we have to make the trip every now and again.

It should be easy enough to add one with elastic (or nylon webbing) and some velcro. It would slow down the draw but perhaps that's an acceptable compromise.

I used to have a belly band with a Velcro retention strap ... shouldn't be hard to sew/add one.

				"Loquacious"
Wasn't that Jean-Luc Picard's name when the Borg had him?

Close. Locutus is the nominative masculine singular form of the Latin verb for say/speak.
