OT: Bethlehem Star

I know this is a CHL/handgun forum but I get the impression many people here would be interested in this.
There is a guy that started researching the Bethlehem star on his own time. He wasn't a scientist or astronomer, just interested in figuring out what the star could have been. With modern day computer software, he recreated the skies back during the time of Jesus' birth. All kinds of crazy astronomical stuff was going on. The guy now does presentations all over the world about what he found. It's a really fascinating presentation. It is not astrology or anything fishy. Check it out if you can make it to one. I would HIGHLY recommend going, especially if you're religious, curious, or science-minded.
He'll be in Forth Worth twice and College Station before the end of the year.
