Well......

Some here may remember seeing a Custom Western Rig for a New Vaquero that I had listed for sale (now deleted). That was the 2nd time I had listed it for sale with zero bites even as low as 100.00 (and I paid over 250 for it).

I was sitting here looking for a cartridge belt for .45-70 at all the places and since the leather ones are over 100, I decided to try something.......

I took the holster off the Vaquero rig and stretched the loops to accommodate the .45-70 Govt. cartridge and here is the result!

A Custom Leather Ranger Style .45-70 Cartridge Belt! Yes the loops are a bit short in length but I think it will work fine.

Whaddya' think? 25 rounds ready for action! ;-)

I say good going for adapting. Better than it just sitting in a closet...

Too busy fooling with guns and such! :smilelol5:

Actually, I have been enjoying the lack of mowing needed!
This heat is terrible!

Water? You've seen water? Where does one get this "water?" Is that the stuff that used to fall from the sky?

Actually, I tried to water my lawn here in the DFW area, but it evaporated before it hit the ground :headscratch
