Update on Thane

A number of y'all will remember my son, who used to post fairly regularly until he was accepted into the BP academy and assigned to NM.
He loves his job, and he's apparently pretty good at it, and has earned a "bit of a reputation" as a prankster... of all things.
(yes, there are a few <ahem> shall we say "interesting" stories there)
Right now he's in New England, spending a week with the family of a particular young lady who's managed to capture his attention most completely... he asked, and she's said "yes," and they have the blessing of both families. She spent 2 years in the Air Force and is now going to college, so not only is she pretty, she's also super smart, AND she likes guns! (and she shares our son's somewhat "quirky" sense of humor
) We got to meet her over the Memorial Day holiday, and while we don't have a date yet we're definitely looking forward to having her as part of our family.
For everyone who has kept Thane and his buds in the border patrol in your prayers, you have my thanks and appreciation!
