My wife and I stood outside the courthouse for 4 hours today waiting on the jury to come out with the verdict. While waiting we were interviewed for the Dr. Phil show... it was interesting. Anyway, Jury just came out. WARREN JEFFS: GUILTY ON BOTH COUNTS. Burn, sucker, burn.



This is me, pondering the testimony while the jury was deliberating. I found him guilty in my mind. And yes, I was carrying IWB, G26.

What will he get life with no parole?

They havent done the sentencing yet, so I'm not real sure. He was charged with Sexual Assault of a Child, and Aggravated Sexual Assault of a child. Max prison sentence is 119 years. But you know how it goes....they usually get away with 30-40% of it. Suffice to say, he should die in prison. I hope our conservative Tom Green County citizens are brutal in their reccomendation, but Im not real sure that they are the ones that have the call. Is it the DA? Judge? Who makes that call?

Depends. I don't know the answer in this case.

Depends if the sentences are concurrent or not. Pen charges are usually day for day.

Good--you can't be intimate with children no matter what. The children of TX, especially the children of FLDS are a little safer tonight.

That guy is seriously deranged, and his lame-o attempts to intimidate the jurors during closing arguments with his vulcan mind stare proves it. He may be all big and bad when he's raping a child, but when he gets to prison, the tables will certainly be turned on him. I can't imagine that he'll make it to his grave with an intact sphincter. Serve him right.
