FFL Transfer locations

It's time again to find an FFL to receive our next deployment gun(s)
Three deployments ago we used Guns Galore in Harker Heights, Two deployments ago it was JT guns in Cove, last deployment Quantico Arms and Tactical Supply in Killeen.

I'm taking the lead again for the unit, and starting the hunt for a FFL to receive our guns..

Likely to be two different orders coming in. Strong runners are Spring Field and Colt. Hand gun and Long gun from each. But the selection process is far from over.

My history on this being the forth deployment purchase, is 9 months out the "I want' numbers will be cut in half by the time the "Time to pay" comes around,,,so about 70 or so transfers in all i'd guess.

All customers will have a TX ID and or Mil ID with orders to FT HOOD, and or in combo a CHL.

Can do cash, check or charge for the transfer fee when we pick up.

Must be a full time shop or a owner operator that is wiling to be available normal business hours.

The group this time is mostly senior folks, so it's most likely that there will be no issues with weapon pick up upon our return.

Quantico Arms and Tactical Supply is my leading place due to a fair price good hours and nice service. .. though cash only is a pain.

Other ideas, central to Killeen (Fort Hood)

Thanks in advance for looking.

Erik

If you are willing to drive to Houston, the Houston Gun Forum store offers $10 FFL transfers for forum members or $5 if you become a supporting member for $20/year. If not a member, it is $15 which is still quite good.
Not sure though if they can do any sort of bulk discount.

Thank you, but no. I don't think that would work..... Gas alone for the drive and many hours on the road would negate the small cash advantage. :cheers2:
