What the heck???

I was in the Alvin Wally World (which sells guns... ) to get some fishin' stuff and thought well ... while I'm here might as well get another hundred rounds of .40 and 9mm...

I get to the ammo case and...WHAT THE...?!?!?!

A box of .40 S&W Winchester 100 rnd 165gr FMJ "Range" ammo has gone up over $5 and the 9mm up a comparable amount...

About a month ago the .40 was $27 and change now it's over $32 a box. When did this happen?!?

Not that I think this is the reason BUT...

I would surmise if it gets too expensive to shoot this would deter a burgeoning portion of the gun friendly populous based it being cost prohibitive to enjoy the sport.

Weren't we warned about ammo price increases starting in May due to the costs of production and metals rising? I don't think it's a conspiracy to outprice the shooter.

I know it may be a good jog from Pearland but I just got an email from SGA (Spring Guns and Ammo).

They now claim to deal in bulk ammo:
Not too bad prices for PMC stuff.

And the Koreans thank you for the business! I will not buy any ammo that is not made in the USA! I know that PMC is one of the better ones out there, but we need to support our own economy!

Commodity prices have been going up for a while. Not only precious metals but base metals like copper and lead too. Prices will keep going up as long as Obama and Boehner keep devaluing the US Dollar by putting us deeper and deeper into debt.

Need to listen to Gun Talk! Tom Gresham told 4 mo ago that China was buying up all the copper so that ammo prices would skyrocket late summer. I took the cue and ordered 1,000 rounds...

Hodgdon Powder from Kansas, and I melt down wheel weights that were installed on American made Cars and Trucks only!

Wonder if everywhere will someday have that dollar per bullet tax so criminals will have to steal ammo when they steal a gun because the poor guys can't afford to buy it anymore; yeah that should deter crime (I think it was proposed in California or some anti-gun State)

This EXACTLY !! And if BHO and the Dem's get their "Job Program "( = Stimulus ), interest rate at 0, then we'll be forced to print even MORE money
and the prices of gold and silver will absolutely go through the roof...... gold hit $1828 today..... but you need to add Geitner and Bernacke to the mix.....

A thoughtful man has to wonder if it's intentional. I'm not a big Perry fan but I give him props for shining a light on the federal reserve money policy and publicly calling social security a ponzi scam.
