You would think he'd have some common sense, but I see none.

"Todd, who is a former Memphis police officer"
Former. Not retired. I wonder if there's a story there.

Stephen,
Guns do belong in bars, but not on the person of those who have had anything to drink. He did have it coming. What a nit.

Do guns belong in cars?
I only ask because they caught him with the gun in his car while (allegedly) driving drunk. However, there's no credible evidence he had it in a bar, especially since he wasn't even carrying on-body when he was stopped. The handgun was "stuffed between the driver's seat and center console" according to one report, which also said he didn't need a license to carry because he's an ex Memphis cop.

Makes car owners look bad. Drunk driving kills how many people each year?

The gun didn't jump out of the holster and attack a Sunday School even though this guy was drunk?
Funny, I thought sure that was bound to happen, the way some people talk.
