Depending on how one carries, the shape of a pistol can be just as important if not more important than size.

Good pics and comparison. Is the Colt a 6 shot? If so then they are on par with firepower as well as size.

Yessir....6 shot

The LC9 holds 8 rnds of 9mm.

A more useful comparison would be the Ruger semi and a Colt semi, or compare a Ruger SP101 with the Colt revolver.

Shouldn't be any significant difference between the SP101 (5 shot) and a Colt DS (6 shot), since they use the same holster.

As much as I LOVE Colt, I'll have to go with the Ruger. Sorry Sam.
