Address Change During the Process?

I searched around a bit - could really only discern that a change of address will cost me $14.50 but not sure how to solve a potential problem...

My house is on the market - not sure we'll sell it...but we have an offer coming today and of course, I just submitted my paperwork (via certified mail) on Saturday. So, if we end up accepting this offer and moving - odds are we'll be out of here in a month or so which would certainly be sooner than DPS completing the CHL process.

What is the appropriate way to change an address while the wheels are in motion in a situation like this?

If they haven't printed it yet, I think you can email them with the updated address.

Same thing happend to me... I emailed the DPS but they still sent the License with the old address. Post office forwarded it to me. I then went on line and changed the address, paid the fee and got the new one shortly.

You can try the email rout but don't hold your breath ;-)

I was in a similar situation when I sent my application in.

You can specify a separate mailing address than what goes on your license. I was working off-site a lot so I just used my wife's work address for the mailing address and didn't have any issues at all.
