IIRC, you can use your CHL-100 to satisfy the training requirements, but the CHL itself is not by itself sufficient.

And remember if you are a resident of FL with a TX CHL there are a few states that will not accept your CHL. You should get your FL permit before you move or at least contact the issuing authority to make sure you can carry in FL on a non-resident TX CHL. FL is a state that DOES NOT honor a permit from a non-resident. When you change residency you may not be legally carrying in FL. If you have the money and a little time it may be necessary to get your FL permit now or not carry until you get a FL permit.

Good point...

You cannot carry in FL if you are a FL resident (FL-DL) holing only a TX CHL (res or non-res).
Once you change your DL, your TX CHL is not recognized by FL.

IANAL, this is just my OPINION. I did live in FL for a while. I did not sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
