I didn't even know that was up for a change....I got caught up in the parking lot stuff and trying to keep my guide service and my classes going ...that I completely missed it. We normally discuss changes here, but didn't see this posted. I have egg on my face and I don't care for it. LOL I normally pride myself on my knowledge of what's going on. I guess I slipped up.

I think it has mainly been referred to here as HB25 (was House Bill 25)

I have a CHL and generally carry while kayak fishing in a life vest pocket and IWB, though I could also conceal in the watercraft without a CHL ... and while fishing from the bank or wadefishing IWB with CHL

Speaking of guns on boats, is there anything illegal about guns on boats in international waters?

So, what is the law? A boat is a vehicle on water as in MPA, right?

Pretty much, and like MPA, where you can't have a gun in the car on USACE property (parks/parking lots etc) whether you have a CHL or not, you likewise can't have a gun in your boat on USACE property, CHL or not (same with Post Office Property and even Courts during floods I guess)

Actually it's "watercraft" rather than boats, so that could be jetski (like the guy on Lake Falcon murdered by a cartel) or Kayaks/ or rubber rafts, SUP StanUpBoard, Surfboard, etc

Technically there is no Law wrt International Waters (I have no reference to cite, only personal experience). But.......you have to go to Port sometime and that is where problems with guns can arise.

Depends on the Country/Port.
An example is Canada. When you enter Port you will be inspected by the Coast Guard and you will be asked if you have any guns onboard (and a search "inspection" will follow). May as well tell them if you have any and they will take them and give you a receipt. When you are ready to sail again they will bring your guns back to you.

Other Countries have different Laws/Practices.

Since my jet ski is almost always used on COE lakes, I keep a flare gun and plenty of flares in a watertight ziplock bag.
I figure getting hit with a burning ball of magnesium would be a fair deterrent.
