Anyone know, is $429 a real good price or just a fair price for a new XD45 with dark earth frame? Thanks, stash

I'm going to hazard a guess and say you are talking about the after Christmas sale at Cabela's? To answer your question, "Yes, that is a great price". I haven't checked but I believe that is even lower than my Dealer's cost and for anyone looking to get a .45 ACP service in dark earth, I would jump on it. Even if you wanted Black, you could get a can of Duracoat and still come out ahead. My wife had even told me to go down there and pick up a couple for resale since they are lower than what I can get them for. I don't know if they will let you use it but if they will and you have one of their $20.00 off coupons. it makes it even better.
