How close is it?
MDA in Houston was not either (according to my criteria) but it had the right wording in both languages.

What was wrong.
Not conspicuously displayed. It was shin high way to the left of the door. When the sliding doors opened they covered the sign. Walking in behind someone made it impossible to see.

White letters on clear glass. Contrasting???

You would need to measure the letters but my guess is they were not 1".

Would they arrest you for carrying there. You bet.
What would it cost to prove your point. More than I have.

I will never forget something Charles told me. Those who are on the cutting edge of law, usually bleed to death.

At children's in Dallas they have a Ghostbuster sign that is about 4 inches tall that white on clear glass. The words were about 1/2 tall white, on clear glass and said something to the affect of "All Firearms Prohibited." Since it was no where close I did not give it much attention. I will look if I go back tomorrow.

That kind I ignore too. Not even close.
There is a ghost buster on the hospitals in Lufkin too. I tell Wife & Mom that we are legally obeying the sign. That is a Baretta 92 that is busted in the picture & not any of us carry a 92. :smilelol5:

I was shocked that this sign is so small. It looks like someone was MADE to put something up.

Why does any establisment bother putting up a sign sayng "Absolutely No Handguns Allowed" if it is an improperly posted sign. Most CHLers will not pay any attention to it and someone carrying illeagaly wont pay any attention either, they are already breaking the law ?

St. Lukes in Conroe is also posted ""concealed weapons prohibited in this facility" Normally I would ignore this sign but since I have a shoulder injury that would probably prevent me from drawing a strong side (right in my case) weapon I have not been carrying. After time permits me to get to the range to do a little weak side practice I will have to dig up a cheap LH holster and start carrying on that side.
