Nice. I went to a local gun store and they were nice enough to let me stick it in my pocket. It was on the border of being too big for pocket carry. Maybe that wallet style holster is the key to comfort and concealment. How's the draw?

Not too bad with these relaxed fit jeans.

Of course, I'm the guy who stands around playing pocket pool most of the time.

I'm impressed... you even have the pinky extension on.

I own a LC9 and find that it is slightly too large for me to pocket carry, especially when wearing jeans -- or any pockets that are cut primarily horizontally instead of a vertical slit found on slacks. Nevertheless, I like to carry it and find that it totally disappears IWB.

I taught a basic handgun class a couple of weeks ago, and for the amusement of my students who did not know it was going to happen, I pulled a PM9 out of my left front pocket, a M&P340 out of my right front pocket, a 3" Kimber off my left hip, and a M&P45 out of a shoulder holster and set them all on the back of my car. Not an original trick, but it got their attention as to the possibilities. I started with the Kimber and the M&P45, and they grinned at that, but they laughed when the other two pistols came out of my front pockets because they were totally concealed there, and they had no idea you could hide a gun in your pocket.

It almost always works out better than people think it's going to when they first try pocket carry, particularly if you have the right gun for it. I don't really know much about the LC9 except that it is very small, like the PF9 and the PM9. My PM9 just disappears into a pocket.

LC9 is flat.

That's closed the deal for me.

The LC9 is a great little gun and easy to shoot. I want one, but have not acquired one yet. Looks like it conceals great though.

Then get a Kahr PM9 instead....

The PM9 is pretty expensive though. OTH, the new CM9 Kahr is in the same price range as the LC9, and it is smaller and lighter than then LC9.

Does that help you make up your mind?

Bingo! And it is my experience that these small pistols do an admirable job of controlling the 9mm recoil, so they aren't really any harder to shoot than a .380. These little guns could put .380s out of business.

Recoil is definitely a deal maker.

The Kahr CM9 definitely has its features, but it is more expensive than the LC9 and with the 7 round mag the grip makes it a bit more difficult to conceal. They both have their high points, and I sold my Kahr for the LC9.

Because I already have a LCP and SW642 for pocket guns. I am not real good about talking myself out of gun buying, so if the LC9 is a no go it will be another revolver.
