Wal-Mart is running a good in store deal right now on SOG Fasthawk (a lighter version of their tactical tomahawk).

Lists as $40 at walmart online, can be found other places online as low as $24, but is $20 in store.
I couldn't resist and picked one up. It feels very light, but did a pretty good job tearing up the coke can I tried it out on.
I think it'd make a great addition to a get home bag. Light enough to not be a burden, but more handy for light chopping and hammering duty than your usual pocket knife.
For only $20, I recommend picking one up. I'm going back for another as a Christmas gift for someone else.

No problem. You might have to hunt for them in store. At my wally world, they weren't with the other knives, but in a display on the end cap of a row of shelves. So look in the sporting goods section, but not with the rest of the knives.

Not on sale that I know of, but I want a Dead On
"Annihilator" in my go bag.

Holy crap, that looks sweet. You could frame a house, split some wood and open them old timer beer bottles with that puppy. Never seen that before.

Think I might pick one of those up after work today. I've been lookin' for a hatchet for butchering duties but I guess a Tommy Hawk will work. For 20 bucks I'll give it a shot.

Put mine next to my full size Kabar so yall could get an idea of size and everything.
Nylon sheath seems pretty durable...its better than the leather sheath that came with the Kabar anyway!

I swung by my local Wallyworld to pick one up.
You do have to look for them.
I found mine in a box on a shelf under a sign that said "Flashlights".
It was, at least, in the sporting goods department.
When I brought it to the counter, the man asked me where I'd gotten it.
I pointed to the sign that said "Flashlights" and said "There's a whole box of them."
He replied "Huh, I just got through telling someone we were out of them."
So look around.
