So tell me - whats a idiot scratch? I don't own a 1911, never did, qualified with on in the military but carried a .38.

Its that semi-circular scratch from the slide stop to the trigger area. Usually happens on take down and/or reassembly when the slide stop is not removed straight out.stash wrote:So tell me - whats a idiot scratch? I don't own a 1911, never did, qualified with on in the military but carried a .38.
