Renewal Time Frame for my 1st Renewal

I work oversea's and my CHL had expired in Aug.
I got home in Nov and did the renewal per the online process with DPS.
It all went fast and no issue's or problems.
21-Nov-11, Took the renewal shooting course and mailed paperwork
15-Dec-11, Received new CHL in mail

Hope it gets even quicker when time for my renewal................................
